ndependent presidential candidate Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has denounced the Ministry of Information, describing it as an unnecessary and outdated component of the government. He argued that no developed country maintains such a ministry, asserting that it represents a waste of time, money, and resources.
In a recent interaction with the media, Kyerematen questioned the value of the ministry, stating, “What does the Ministry of Information actually accomplish? It’s a whole ministry focused on government projects, but what real benefit does it provide? In mature economies, you won’t find a Ministry of Information. It’s a waste of resources and adds no value.”
Kyerematen also voiced his commitment to reform in a social media post on Tuesday, asserting, “Ghana deserves fresh ideas and bold leadership!” He highlighted the Alliance for Revolutionary Change, under his leadership, as dedicated to transforming the nation from the ground up and called on Ghanaians to support his party in the upcoming December elections.
The Alliance for Revolutionary Change, composed of various movements, has chosen Alan Kyerematen as their independent presidential candidate for the upcoming election.
