Sad scenes at mass burial of 12 people who died in crash at Ahafo

A burial ceremony has been held for 12 victims who lost their lives in an accident involving bus from a Chinese wood company, which was carrying over 50 workers colliding with a timber truck on September 6,2024 on Goaso-Mim road, resulting in the deàths of 8 workers at the scene and 4 others who reportedly d!ed in the hospital.

The 12 workers at the Infix Wood Processing Company At Mim in the Ahafo Region are said to have sustained various degrees of injuries when It had a head-on collision that involved the company’s bus with registration number AC 775-24 and a tipper truck.

The bus was transporting the workers to the workplace when the accident occurred at the section of the road.
