President John Dramani Mahama has stated that the success of his administration will guarantee another term for the NDC maybe under a new leader.
John Mahama noted that he promised Ghanaians sixty ministers so definitely some people will be disappointed after receiving about a thousand CVs.
According to him, it is not only by playing a role as a minister that one can contribute to the success of the government.
Speaking during a Presidential dinner in his honor John Mahama detailed, “I cannot do this work alone, so I have to select some people to join me, to be able to deliver the reset that we have promised Ghanaians, it is coming at a time when Ghanaians expected a reduction in the size of government, so you won’t want to be in my shoes when we promised to appoint only sixty ministers”.
“There are thousands of people sending their CVs, definitely some people will be disappointed, but it is not only by playing a role at that level that you can contribute to the success of the government, there are many other things we can all do”, he added.
John Mahama further reiterated, “The success of this administration will guarantee another term, maybe under some other leader”.
Meanwhile, Mahama at the Presidential Dinner also urged the NDC regional and constituency chairmen to call youths to order.
