A video has popped up on social media of Mr Baltasar Engonga Edjo’o, President of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) Commission and father of Baltasar Ebang Engonga receiving loud cheers at the inauguration ceremony of Gabon’s President.
In the viral video, Mr Baltasar Engonga Edjo’o at the inauguration ceremony of Gabon’s President, Brice Oligui Nguema received praise when he was introduced at the event.
The name Baltasar Engonga might take years to be erased from the minds of social media and even the history of Equatorial Guinea amidst his corruptive and sexual trials.
Mr Baltassr Ebang Engonga has for last year trended for the wrong reason following the uncovering of sex tapes made by the national security apparatus of Equatorial Guinea.
Files containing sex tapes of over 400 women were found on his laptop and they have since been leaked on the internet.
He has come under criticism by both his country’s people and the entire “moral appearing African”, for putting the lives and peace of his beautiful wife and kids into public ridicule.
In the leak tapes circulating online, Engonga is seen having sexual intercourse with various married women, including his brother’s wife, cousin, the Director General of Police’s wife, about 20 of the country’s ministers’ wives, and a sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea.
Information gathered that the 400 sex tapes were retrieved during an investigation of the official for alleged fraud and released online to the public.
The scandal has been described as the biggest sex scandal Equatorial Guinea has ever witnessed.
