Appiah Stadium, a close ‘associate’ of President John Dramani Mahama has denied ever insulting businessman Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.
According to him, some unprofessional bloggers are trying to malign him and he promised he might one day fight a blogger over that.
“Some of these bloggers just want to tarnish my image and say things I have not done. One of these days I will just hit one of them on the head with an object,” he stated.
“Dr. Osei Kwame Despite has lived a good life and I have by the grace of God received favor in his sight. We met at the funeral of the late Asoma Banda and we were talking about an old video I had done and praised him immensely. I even told him after I did such a nice video he was praising me but if it had been the other way round someone would’ve rushed to tell on me,” he addressed claims of insulting Despite.
He indicated in the video he was only accompanying Despite to his car, adding that he can never in a lifetime insult or disrespect Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.
“Even if I am mad I won’t insult Dr. Osei Kwame Despite. Ibrahim Mahama and despite are on the same level and you all known Ibrahim Mahama has my life in his hands. So, I dare not insult someone on the same level and Ibrahim Mahama.”
Appiah Stadium advised bloggers against taking videos and information out of context and always strife to get their facts right.
In a video shared on Facebook, Appiah Stadium and Despite met at the funeral of the late Asoma Banda which was held at the forecourt of the state house were engaged in a conversation.
The initial comments between the two was not captured on camera. However, it was heard clear as day when Appiah Stadium said to Dr. Osei Kwame Despite “Gyae nsɛm hunu no” which loosely translates to stop that nonsense.
Dr. Osei Kwame Despite was obviously displeased by Appiah Stadium’s comments as he quickly gave him (Appiah Stadium) a look of displeasure but decided to keep quiet.
Both videos have garnered a number of views and reactions from Ghanaian online community.
