Nigerian afrobeat sensation, Davido has sent out congratulations to colleague Tems for her Grammy win.

Tems won the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Tems swept the award with her song Love Me Jeje, beating fellow Nigerians Burna Boy (City Boys), Davido & Musa Keys, Ayra Starr, and Asake & Olamide who were also nominated in the same category.

Davido took to his X page in the early hours of the morning of Monday, February 3, 2025 to express his admiration and pride for Tem’s victory.

“Congratulations to my one and only ! @chrisbrown! And to the Queen @temsbaby we are proud of you!” he wrote.

This win is Tems’ second Grammys after previously earning a Grammy for her contribution to Future’s chart-topping single Wait For U in 2023.

The 67th Grammy Awards took place on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
