Nigerian musician, Asake, has finally spoken up about his recent face tattoos which has sparked debates amongst his fans.
The musician says the face tattoos makes him feel comfortable and is not perturbed about people criticizing his new look.
“This is how I feel now. I love to feel comfortable in myself, in the things that I feel is good for me, not even about anybody,” he told Billboard on the red carpet of the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday,
According to him, although he feels this way now, he may wake up tomorrow with a changed mindset.
“I might wake up tomorrow and you guys may not see any tattoo on my face,” he said.
The 67th Grammys held on Sunday in Los Angeles was Asake’s first.
The singer was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category which his compatriot, Tems, won for her song ‘Love Me Jeje’.
