State owned newspaper; Daily Graphic has been described as an anti-National Democratic Congress (NDC) news portal.
The respected national newspaper has been accused of refusing to practice the proper tenets of journalism to only focus on “fabricating lies”.
US based Ghanaian social commentator; Kevin Taylor made this claim against Daily Graphic on his X page.
“I advised the NDC government about Daily graphic they are now not different from Ghanaweb always fabricating lies to get traction on social media,” he wrote.
His comment comes after Daily Graphic published a story suggesting that the government plans to abolish teacher trainee allowances.
The Ministry of Education has dismissed the report, accusing Daily Graphic of creating a wrong impression.
The Ministry went ahead to urge Daily Graphic to publish a rejoinder and “correct the wrong impression created”.
