According to him, President Akufo-Addo has secured from himself a grand estate in the southern part of France, where he plans on enjoying his retirement.

Sam George however noted that Akufo-Addo’s plans will not be realized under President-Elect John Dramani Mahama’s leadership.

The MP noted that just like John Dramani Mahama when in opposition stayed in Ghana and charged the NPP to probe him if they had doubts about his leadership, or suspected him of any corrupt dealings same will be expected of Akufo-Addo.

“When John Mahama told Akufo-Addo for 8 years I have been a former president I lived in Ghana I didn’t live outside the country. So, if there was any prosecution or any question you had to ask of me I was here where was he?”

“You will not go and live in the South of France. That mansion that has been built in the South of France will remain uninhabited. President Akufo-Addo will have to stay in Ghana to answer questions,” he stated.

Following a historic electoral victory in Ghana’s 2024 general elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by President-elect John Dramani Mahama, is expected to move ahead with its bold and controversial anti-corruption initiative: Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).

This initiative, which topped Mahama’s 120-day social contract agenda, aims to address corruption, recover stolen state resources, and ensure accountability within the public
