The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has slammed, President Akufo-Addo.
According to John Mahama, President Akufo-Addo at his age should be preparing his soul for heaven and stop telling lies about dumsor.
John Mahama boldly stated, that in 2016 dumsor was solved and nobody’s light went off or had a load-shedding.
Speaking on a campaign platform John Mahama stated, “Liars cannot go to Heaven, let me give you a Bible quotation, Proverbs 19: 9, which says those who bear false witness will not go unpunished and the liars will be destroyed”.
“I expect that when the NPP is telling lies they will live it to the younger ones, and the junior ones, to do, and when the senior ones like Nana Akufo-Addo say that Dumsor was not solved before we came, I heard him say that we could not keep the lights on how can we run a 24-hour economy”, he added.
John Mahama further emphasized, “In 2016, dumsor had been solved, nobody’s light went off in 2016, and nobody had load-shedding in 2016 that is on record go and look at GRIDCo records, go and look at ECG records nobody had load-shedding in 2016 and that is a fact”.
“From January to December to the following January when we handed over to Nana Akufo-Addo, he should bear true testimony dumsor had been solved. If you lie you will not go to heaven at his age, he should be preparing his soul for heaven so he should stop lying”, he stated.
John Mahama reiterated that President Akufo-Addo knew dumsor was a generational problem, he revealed he did not shift the blame like how Akufo-Addo had been doing and accepted the responsibility to fix the problem and he did fix the problem.
