In a soon-to-air episode on TV3 Hot Issues with Keminni Amanor, he explains why he demobilized the police tow truck as seen in the now-viral video.

Speaking on Hot Issues, he said, “ We brought a truck that contained medicine, food, water, and placards for protestors, it had been parked under the trees that were at 37 near the trotro station not even on the road, we stopped there the driver was out, then we saw police officers forming a wall around the vehicle”.

“My initial understanding assumed that they were trying to prevent the vehicle from moving onto the streets, I just told the driver there was a laptop that was exposed, to take the laptop raise the windows, close it, and go so it is clear to them the vehicle was not going anywhere”, he added.

Oliver Barker Vormawor further detailed that the Police brought in a tow truck and they resisted the Police towing the truck like how environmental protesters will chain themselves to a tree in the hope the tree is safe.

Oliver added, “I started walking around the tow truck to see if there was a way to demobilize this truck in fear it might injure the individuals who were there, I got to where the driver was supposed to be there was no driver, it was security incompetent to leave a vehicle running, I turned it off”.

The lead Convener of the Democracy Hub added that it is reckless to deny citizens their rights and added he will do it today and will do ever consistently.
