Sonnie Badu a Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher has revealed that he cannot wear slippers anymore after a domestic accident he experienced in December 2023.
His accident happened just days before his concert name Rhythms of Africa in December 20233. Badu however performed at the concert with many Ghanaians speculating that it was a publicity stunt, tagged as ‘settings’ to draw attention to the event.
Speaking on United Showbiz, Sonnie Badu has now revealed the full extent of his injury, he said, “I decided not to confirm to anybody, it is part of my journey to healing, because now I can’t wear slippers, I gave away all my slippers, I felt embarrassed that I have 3 toes left”.
Sonnie added, “I think it an illusion, but the bones are growing back. They couldn’t put it back, there was nothing anyone could do, I commend Ghanaian doctors they did everything,”.
“My team had to come back to look for the toes and they place it on ice, I didn’t know it was gone when I got to the hospital, I walked there myself”, he narrated.
In the comment section one Kwame Baggio stated, “All this whiles we thought it was settings, may God forgive us”.
The Dreamer also adding, “And the ignorant people were on here saying he was faking it to chase clout and also to promote his show. You never know what people are going through in their lives but yet people are always quick to judge…. Smh. We thank God for getting him through it all”.
