Some Ghanaians currently protesting against the LGBTQ bill have expressed their strong dissatisfaction to the delay of the Anti-LGBTQ bill before the supreme Court.
They argue that the Ghanaian values and culture does not accept the practice of homosexuality.
“They started with our kids some time ago that they want to introduce comprehensive sex education to our children because they know with kids when you teach them from their infancy it becomes part and parcel of them and that is what we don’t want so we’re demonstrating today” one protester said.
He went on to demand that the President acts accordingly for the Supreme Court to hear the case before them in order for him to sign the bill.
“The government must sign this bill for us to be free in this country. That is all we want” he emphasized.
They noted that if they’re request is not granted by the President as soon as possible, they will continue to hit the streets until the right is done.
