A video of the Techiman South shooting on election day has resurfaced on social media.
In the viral video, the security men at the scene were captured firing warning shots to maintain calm as supporters of both parties fought and destroyed ballot boxes containing results from some polling stations.
The video also captured supporters protesting from the crowd and some fleeing, some security men were captured aiming live ammunition into the crowd.
Two people were confirmed dead while several people were also said to have sustained gunshot wounds following a shooting incident at the Techiman South Constituency in the Bono East Region.
Meanwhile, the High Court in Wenchi has directed the state to pay GHc45,000 each as damages to six persons who suffered varying degrees of injuries during the shooting incident.
