Beatrice Annan, a lawyer and spokesperson for the John Dramani Mahama campaign team has revealed that Vincent Assafuah can only hold a book and follow lawyers.
According to the ESQ Beatrice Annan, the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Lawyer Vincent Ekow Assafuah is just a pupil who has not even taken an adjournment to court before.
On TV3’s Key Point program, Lawyer Vincent Ekow Assafuah questioned Lawyer Martin Kpebu’s ability to comprehend the Supreme Court’s ruling, which halted Speaker Bagbin’s declaration.
Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana, Beatrice Annan revealed, “Vincent Assafuah is a pupil, has he even taken adjournment to court before? He is my very good friend, what it means is that He can only hold a book and follow a lawyer, he can’t even take a date, he can’t go to court and say my lord can the case be adjourned he is not allowed to, he hasn’t gotten to that level so let make a serious submission”.
Beatrice Annan further went on to salute other NPP Lawyers who have remained silent on the Supreme Court halting Speaker Bagbins’s ruling, “I salute the NPP lawyers that they don’t want to talk about it, they don’t want to put their careers on the line for their political party and this I would salute”, she added.
