Sonnie Badu a Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher has revealed that he cannot wear slippers anymore after a domestic accident he experienced in December 2023.
Speaking on United Showbiz, Sonnie Badu said, “I decided not to confirm to anybody, it is part of my journey to healing, because now I can’t wear slippers, I gave away all my slippers, I felt embarrassed that I have 3 toes left”.
Sonnie Badu further disclosed he believed God made this happen for a reason and he is thankful for live.
“I think it an illusion, but the bones are growing back. They couldn’t put it back, there was nothing anyone could do, I commend Ghanaian doctors they did everything,” He added.
The gospel artist stated that the accident happened when he stepped on his stairs at home and he slipped and fell, landing on his shoulders instead of his head hitting the floor.
“My team had to come back to look for the toes and they place it on ice, I didn’t know it was gone when I got to the hospital, I walked there myself”, he narrated.
His accident happened just days before his concert name Rhythms of Africa in December 20233. Badu however performed at the concert with many Ghanaians speculating that it was a publicity stunt, tagged as ‘settings’ to draw attention to the event.
