The disqualified presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party Roman Fada has finally broken his silence after he was disqualified from contesting in the 2024 presidential elections by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
The EC disqualified Philip Appiah Kubi commonly known as Roman Fada of the Ghana Freedom Party’s (GFP) a replacement flagbearer for the late Akua Donkor after discovering errors and illegalities on his nomination form.
The EC Chair Jean Adukwei Mensa, at a press conference held on Tuesday, November 12, made this revelation to the general public.
According to the GFP’s disqualified presidential candidate, on 7 December Ghanaians should vote for the GFP’s four parliamentary candidates and also vote wisely for a presidential candidate.
Speaking in a self-recorded video, Roman Fada stated, “All you are hearing, what I am telling you is that it is well, on the 7th of December if you are going to vote, we have four parliamentary candidates make sure you vote for them, and also the presidential vote wisely, me I am eating my fufu, this qualification or no disqualification”.
He further went on to thank Ghanaians for their support towards the Ghana Freedom Party.
Meanwhile, Jean Mensah says the positions of presidential candidates on December 7, 2024, ballot papers will remain the same, according to her, the presidential ballot will be maintained as the ballot papers are about 90 percent printed.
