Disgruntled former communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region has made a bold prediction that the New Patriotic Party (NPP), under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will secure 300,000 votes and win four parliamentary seats in the Volta Region during the upcoming elections.
Speaking enthusiastically about the NPP’s prospects, he attributed the party’s anticipated success to its achievements, particularly the implementation of the free senior high school (SHS) education policy initiated by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
He emphasized that this initiative has significantly benefited the youth, providing them with greater access to education and opportunities for personal development in the Volta Region.
The communicator expressed confidence that the NPP could surpass the 300,000 vote target, citing increased party mobilization efforts and a dedicated local leadership team working tirelessly to connect with voters.
“Honorable executives are not relenting at all. They are really working 24 hours to ensure we achieve more than that,” he added.
He also noted the historical context of the NPP’s performance in the region, recalling that the party garnered approximately 100,000 votes when the Volta Region was combined with the Oti Region.
After Oti was carved out, the NPP still managed to secure a solid number of votes, signaling a shift in voter sentiment.
