Mahama Doesn’t joke with Barker-Vormawor – NPP’s Collins

Collins Owusu Amankwah, former MP for Manhyia North has revealed that lead Convener for democracy hub Oliver Barker Vormawor is a member of the National Democratic Congress.

According to Amankwah, Barker Vormawor holds a close relationship with former president and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking on Peace FM on Friday, September 27, Amankwah expressed concern that while illegal mining (galamsey) is a serious issue, the timing of the demonstration held just before the 2024 elections suggests it’s politically motivated by the NDC

“the demonstration, which was presented as an anti-illegal mining (galamsey) protest, is part of a broader political strategy by the NDC to undermine the current government”.

He urged Ghanaians to open their eyes, emphasizing that the government has been actively working to address the galamsey crisis.
