Vice president Dr Mahamudu is continuing his tour in various regions . While he is touring other regions, the branded pickups are being driven around to preach the NPP manifesto to the people.
Unlike the usual cheering and jamboree that meets the a New Patriotic Party branded pickups , the truck received hoots, boos and jeers as it made its way through the konkomba Yam Market.
As seen in videos shared via social media, some traders lined up along the stretch of the road booed away as branded pickups passed through the yam Market .
The booing of the vice president’s pickup has largely been attributed to the current state of the Ghanaian economy and the general economic hardship in the country.
