An X user has alleged that Presidential Candidate for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo and his wife have been given a $1.9m ECG contract.
In the said contract an amount of $1,919,750.82 was quoted for the supply of distribution materials under intensification project package.
The X user also asserted to the fact that this juicy contract is the reason why Kofi Akpaloo swapped his number 1 with the NPP for a number 5 on the 2024 ballot paper.
Kofi Akpaloo has since rejected the allegations of swapping ballot position indicating anyone who thinks he exchanged first position on the ballot paper for a fifth position either has urine or Kerosene in their head.
Meanwhile, Evans Nimako the director of elections for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has rejected allegations of swapping their ballot position with the Liberal Party of Ghana’s Kofi Akpaloo.
