Ghanaian Actor and Entrepreneur, Harold Amenyah has shared that his Man of the year is the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him President Akufo-Addo has really couched himself very well throughout his eight years of Presidency hence he deserve to be his choice of Man of the year. He mentioned that the eight years of Akufo-Addo’s government have been very tough and rough citing global economic crisis caused by the pandemic and the Ukraine as key ushers of the hardship, yet he said the President has kept his cool through.
He praised his resilience and efforts to locally keep the country afloat even in the midst of global turbulence which saw great nations sink with its people dying. He made these comments during an interview with the media at the 2025 Exclusive Men of the Year Awards held in Accra.
Answering on whether he thinks Ghanaians will agree with his assertion on the President being the Man of the Year, Harold Amenyah mentioned that, he is not expecting everyone to side with him because his opinion is just as different from another person’s own but for him, he sees Akufo-Addo as the man in the country who has extremely done well for holding a country like Ghana down.
