In a strange twist of events in Assin Kushea, a suburb of the Central Region, an unseen force blocked pallbearers from proceeding to the burial grounds of a deceased young man.
According to a post made by EDHUB on X, the young man collapsed and died during a football match at the young age of 22 years.
It was revealed that the young man died just three days after burying his mother, an occurrence which sparked mixed reactions and confusion in the community.
However, during his burial Wednesday, attempts to carry his body to a grave near his mother’s proved difficult.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that pallbearers on countless occasions attempted to walk towards the gravesite but were prevented from moving forward by an unforeseen force.
Upon several failed attempts to finally lay the young man to rest, elders of the young man’s family had to intervene.
They poured libation; a traditional ritual believed to calm spirits or seek ancestral guidance, until the pallbearers were eventually able to proceed and finally bury the young man.
The incident has generated a lot of conversations on social media with many sharing different insights into the bizarre incident.
