According to Oheneba Nana Asiedu no staff of Wontumi TV and radio is supposed to talk about any newsworthy item of the minority or even carry their news stories.

“I have been told the minority will hold a press conference today but tomorrow when I come to sit here, I won’t speak about it.”

“To the news team, if I hear you speaking about it, I’ll take it off air. Take this from me. If I hear anyone speaking about the minority press conference I will take you off air. Until they come back to their senses, we won’t carry anything of theirs on air,” he added.

He revealed the party has now once again chosen other media platforms to engage and spend on while ignoring Wontumi TV/radio which has been there for the party and promoted its agenda.

Oheneba Nana Asiedu also revealed that during the 2024 campaign period, Annoh-Dompreh told him point blank that their budget does not carter for Wontumi TV/radio, hence they did not spend with them.

“We spoke to Annoh-Dompreh the last time and he said their budget did not carter for Wontumi TV and radio, and these people will be fronting for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign.”

He added that currently, Dr. Bawumia has no grasp over the party and Members of Parliament.

“It is not surprising that you now go to parliament and Dr. Bawumia is losing the 88 MPs. If this is how they want to go on, we will meet them squarely.”

He charged other NPP sympathizers to speak up against the ills in the party and correct them, rather than abandoned it.
