Former Black Stars player, Rabiu Mohammed has become a cocoa farmer after his retirement from football.
A video of him working on his cocoa farm has surfaced and received a number of reactions from the Ghanaian populace.
Ghanaians reacting to the video have been full of praise for him, and shared their love for him for venturing into a new venture.
The player after a brief period with Russian club FC Tambov retired from football in 2020.
He gained recognition in the country after his impressive performance with Ghana’s U-20 team at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Rabiu Mohammed after putting up an impressive performance received a call up to the senior national team, Black Stars making the squad for the 2014 World Cup held in Brazil.
Although his career was characterized by injuries, Rabiu Mohammed played for top flight clubs such as Udinese, Sampdoria, Paris FC, and several Russian clubs.
