A netizen has boldly alleged that Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng the founder of the Power Chapel Worldwide Ministries has been arrested at the Kotoka International Airport.
According to the netizen Rev Kusi Boateng was arrested after he attempted to flee the country.
The netizen later dropped a video of Rev Kusi Boateng at the airport interacting with some person to answer some Ghanaians doubting his claims of the arrest.
He wrote, “ Those asking me questions there you go🔥🔥🔥He’s been detained. Watch my space for more info”.
However, the video shared was not concrete enough to support his claims that Kusi Boateng was arrested, in his video shared the man of God was spotted in a brief moment talking to some officials at the airport.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed that Rev. Kusi Boateng has criminal issues to respond to.
According to Ablakwa, Kusi Boateng must respond to his double identity scam despite CHRAJ findings.
Speaking on PM Express, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa stated, “Apart from Victor Kusi Boateng, and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi who have criminal issues to respond to, I insist that I would not be allowed to get away with it, Evans Mensah will not be allowed to get away with the double identity scam”.
“Apart from him and his double identity criminality, the rest of the eminent priests I honestly think that we really need to look at the evidence again from what I have seen, they were simply misled”, he added.
Rev Kusi Boateng was allegedly fingered Kusi Boateng in the 17 intercepted boxes of gold being transported illegally to Dubai.
According to Kevin Taylor, Kusi Boateng took the lead to Dubai to wait for the gold that was intercepted yesterday by the Ghana Police.
Kevin Taylor wrote on X, “ Kusi Boateng I beg leave Dubai and come home wai na the gold was intercepted yesterday . The ofui took the lead to go wait for the gold in Dubai 😂😂😂😂😂”.
Additionally, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC Mustapha Gbande, has also levelled allegations against Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng for his dealings as secretary of the board of trustees of the National Cathedral Secretariat.
According to Mustapha Gbande, the man of God has committed several illegalities including an alleged plot to help the New Patriotic Party rig the 2024 Elections.
