Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo have offered their condolences to the founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Rev. Obofour.
The duo visited Rev.Obofour in his home to pay their respects on the passing of his beloved mother.
In a video shared on Instagram, Julius Debrah and George Opare Addo were seen entering the premises of Rev. Obofour’s Accra home.
Rev. Obofour who was expecting the two distinguished visitors stepped out to greet them and warmly welcomed them into his home.
Rev. Obofour’s mother, Afia Pokuaa, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The news of her passing was shared in a Facebook post on February 26, 2025.
Rev. Obofour in the post recounted his mother’s last words before her death, saying she told church members to watch her for the last time, as it was uncertain when they would see her again.
According to Rev. Obofour, his mother made an impact and died beautifully.
The visit has resulted in some online conversation with the focus being on the humility of the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah.
“I dint know what will make me bow down to Obofuor but look at a whole chief of staff bowing down humility is indeed a virtue and I can see it evidently clear in JM administration not what we saw in the last 8yrs,” a netizen identified as mikuuzie reacted to the video.
