Newly appointed Upper East Regional Minister, Donatus Akamugri Atanga has in an opulent display sprayed cash on fans and supporters.
The minister was received with pomp and pageantry as he returned to his region from his vetting at the nation’s capital, Accra.
In a video shared online, the Minister who was clad in white could be seen standing through the sunroof of his car waving the Ghana flag.
As drumming and singing intensified, Donatus Akamugri Atanga dipped his hand inside his breast pocket and took out an undisclosed amount of cash, throwing it into the crowd.
Akamuguri Atanga Donatus holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights and a Bachelor of Education Degree in Social Studies and Mathematics from the University of Education-Winneba.
He previously served as Coordinator of the National School Feeding Programme and Presiding Member of the Bongo District Assembly.
