A recent poll by the Global InfoAnalytics has revealed that 70 percent of Ghanaians believe the country is on the right track under President John Dramani Mahama.
The Global InfoAnalytics in October 2022 revealed 77 precent of the Ghanaian people believed the country was heading in the wrong direction under former president Akufo-Addo.
The figure stayed high at 71 percent in January 2023, and in April 2024, just before the election, it stood at 65 percent.
Mahama receiving 70 percent approval from Ghanaians marks a significant change from just months ago under the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government when most Ghanaian people articulated hopelessness about Ghana’s future.
The 70% change in opinion is supported by public appreciation of President John Dramani Mahama’s almost a month in office as President of Ghana.
The Global InfoAnalytics also revealed that John Mahama has earned an 84% approval rating over these few weeks in office.
Mahama’s cabinet appointments have also echoed strongly with Ghanaians with a 90% satisfaction rate, with 68% of Ghanaians being either “very satisfied” or “extremely satisfied”.
Meanwhile, President John Dramani Mahama has revealed it is his prayer God use him as an instrument to make everybody’s life better in Ghana.
John Mahama asserted that it is his purpose to serve his fellow Ghanaians and make sure that his government can turn the fortunes of the country around.
