The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is suffering a steady decline in supporters as Ghanaians are losing interest in the party.
Within a space of three-months, the NPP has lost 16percent of its supporters.
In a survey conducted by Global InfoAnalytics, the NPP as at November 2024 had thirty-seven percent (37%) of Ghanaians being ardent supporters of the party.
However, as at February 2025, the party base of the party has dropped from thirty-seven percent (37%) to twenty-one percent (21%).
From the data gathered, only three percent (3%) of Ghanaians refused to disclose their party affiliations.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has however seen a significant increase in their membership, by rising from thirty-three percent (33%) to fifty-five percent (55%).
If the polls keep going in this direction, the NDC may remain in power after the 2028 elections as the size of party affiliations is key to winning the election.
