The minority caucus in parliament has boldly told the NDC majority that they are a few but are a mighty few.

According to the minority yesterday 30 January 2025, they were verbally attacked and it took the vigil of the Police to escort them out of the Chamber.

Speaking to the media, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin stated, “Let me tell the NDC we are few, but we are a mighty few, we are firm in our conviction we are determined and we shall never surrender to their intimidation, indeed yesterday night we shall verbal attacks on us, and it took the vigilant of the Police to escort out of the Chamber”.

“We commend the Police, for what they did last night, ensuring law and order and we urge them to continue their good work”, he added.

Meanwhile, the minority have also demanded the the resignation of the Appointments Committee clerk Gifty Jiagge-Gobah.

According to the minority leader Afenyo Markin, the Clerk of the Appointments Committee is biased and aligns with the NDC majority.
