There has been a fire outbreak in some portions of the Tema Community 4 residential area.
The cause of the fire, which started at the dawn of Friday, January 3, 2025, is unknown.
The fire is said to have started in a home in Community 4, and so far, no casualties have been recorded.
However, the fire that could have been stopped from spreading further in a timely fashion ragged on as the Ghana National Fire Service was unreachable via phone.
Some concerned residents had to drive to the office of the Tema fire station to get them to come and contain the fire.
Ghanaians have raised concern and worry over the incidents of fire outbreaks just 3 days into 2025.
On January 1, 2025, a store in Kumasi was burnt to ashes after a knockout managed to cause the fire, leading to the loss of thousands of cedis by the shop owner.
Coincidentally, the next day, January 2, 2025, fire engulfed the Kantamanto market in Accra, burning down hundreds of shops, with traders losing millions of cedis in cash and goods.
