It has been revealed that a brother of Gabby Otchere-Darko, cousin to President Akufo-Addo was treated as a darling boy in the outgoing government.
It is said that an office was created specifically for the brother in question, Jake Okyere Bediako at the presidency for him to use as he pleased, and to amass wealth.
Ghanaian-US based social commentator; Kevin Taylor made this revelation on his official X page.
According to Kevin Taylor, Jake was mostly the brain behind the visits of various foreign stars, be it musicians, movie stars and whatnots to Ghana, and always used their visits to enrich himself further by coming up with “whole budget” for such visits.
He also indicated that “all the nonsense meek mill came to do at Jubilee house it was this guy and Gyankroma.”
An alarming allegation made against Jake by Kevin is that, Gabby Otchere-Darko has hidden most of his ill gotten properties under the name of Jake Okyere Bediako.
Kevin Taylor wrote on his X page, “This guy. He’s gabby’s younger brother. His name is Jake Okyere Bediako. Everywhere Akuffo Went to. He was part of the invisible delegation.
Any super star ( foreigner ) that came to Ghana, this guy led that charge, he had a whole budget for that. So all the nonsense meek mill came to do at Jubilee house it was this guy and gyankroma.
Most of gabby’s properties are in this guys name. They created an office speacially for him. Disapora Affairs @ jubilee house. The excess budget that was always given to Jubilee house. Parts of the money went to this guys office.”
