Sylvester Tetteh, the former member of parliament for Bortianor and former Deputy Information Minister has been exposed for acquiring prime state lands for just GHS 45,000.
According to the information gathered it has been alleged that Sylvester Tetteh acquired government land at Jubilee Gate Residential Estate for GHS 45,000, with a 99-year lease starting January 2024.
It has also been revealed that the former minister acquired the state land on the 23rd of December, 2024, after his government lost the 2024 election.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) and member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has called on National Security to take control of five prime state lands allegedly sold to appointees of President Akufo-Addo.
Ablakwa in December 2024, in a damning exposé, raised serious allegations against President Akufo-Addo, accusing him of using his political influence to allocate state lands to his daughter and niece for private business ventures.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed, that the Protection of State Assets Bill is the permanent solution to the canker of State capture.
According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, he has initiated formal steps to re-present to the 9th Parliament our Private Member’s Bill known as the Protection of State Assets Bill..
He asserted that the bill seeks to prohibit politicians and politically exposed persons from buying state assets.
