Former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffour has said opportunities must be given to the younger ones while the experience advises.
Dr. Kwabena Duffour revealed that the NDC has so many economists who will be supported to run the finance ministry.
He added that the older ones will be at the back advising the younger people to give them experience to grow.
Speaking on the day of John Mahama swearing in, Dr. Kwabena Duffour stated, “The NDC has so many economists, fantastic ones, we have young people, who will be supported to run the ministry. There should be any problem at all”.
“We will advise, we should be at the back, to advise the young people, give experience to the younger ones to also grow to have the experience you have, so we will do that”, Kwabena Duffour added.
Dr. Kwabena Duffour has also hailed the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama as a turning point in Ghana’s history, he described it as the dawn of a new chapter of freedom and opportunity for all citizens.
“This is a new era of independence freedom for all Ghanaians, We are on the brink of experiencing opportunities that will benefit everyone, not just a select few”, he stated.
Meanwhile, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, the Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Essiam has been named as the finance minister designate.
