President Akufo-Addo has boldly declared Ghana is not broke.
According to Akufo-Addo, many propagandas want Ghanaians to believe the country is broke.
He further claimed his government is handing over to John Mahama with a gross international reserve of almost 8 billion dollars.
President Akufo-Addo made this known while he was delivering his last State of the Nation address to parliament today January 3, 2024.
Delivering his address in parliament, President Akufo-Addo boldly declared, “Mr. Speaker, the country is not broke, and some propaganda wants us to believe, we are handing over the country with gross international reserves of almost 8 billion USD”.
He further revealed that in 2017 he inherited a gross international reserve of 6.2 billion dollars from John Mahama.
“This is more than the 6.2 billion USD of gross international reserves my administration inherited in 2017”, he detailed.
