Fashion Designer Matthew Agambire behind President John Dramani Mahama’s inauguration outfit has shared how he met Ghana’s president.
According to the Fashion Designer, he designed the attire to be delivered to him and that was how he met the President.
Speaking on GHONE TV, Matthew Agambire detailed, “In the same way, I get in touch with most of my high-end clients, I created a brand that I target some caliber of clientele, and those people it is not easy to get them like that so I just”.
“I took his picture, and I looked at his body, and I decided to estimate his measurement, so I just wrote the measurement down then I started making some few items for him, when I finished, I got in touch with someone closer to him and I said can you deliver this to him, maybe he may like it. It is the same approach I used on most people I don’t have prior contact with”, he added.
Meanwhile, the outfit worn by President John Dramani Mahama at his inauguration was not merely an outfit but one that sent a clear message to Ghanaians.
Mahama’s outfit had four unique Adinkra symbols found in the center of the outfit and a Kente cloth.
The symbols include, Nyame Dua (Tree of God), Sankofa (To go back), Gye Nyame (Only God), and Dwennimmen (Humility and Strength).
