Parliament has greenlighted the approval of Ato Forson, John Jinapor, and Dominic Ayine as Ministers following a successful vetting on Monday, January 13, 2025.

The approval follows the Committee’s unanimous recommendation of the three as sector ministers for their respective ministerial positions.

The motion for approval was debated in Parliament on Tuesday, January 21.

During the hours of debate, both the Majority and Minority caucuses acknowledged that Ato Forson, John Jinapor, and Dominic Ayine demonstrated competence.

Andrew Asiamah Amoako, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament then confirmed the appointments.

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson (MP) is now Finance Minister,  John Abdulai Jinapor Energy and Green Transition, and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine Attorney-General and Minister of Justice.
