This follows a recent post made by Sarkodie on his Instagram page supposedly directed at the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Sarkodie wrote, “Back to gari soakings like we never left.”

Social media users interpreted the comment of the rapper, a known sympathizer of the opposition, New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a reaction to President John Mahama’s return to office.

“He should come out and publicly apologize to Mahama. If he refuses to do so, he will battle extreme poverty in the next four years. I will destroy everything he (Sarkodie) touches and works for. I have already started the process,” he stated in a video shared on X.

According to Prophet Mensah, anyone who lets pride lead them will always have someone appointed by God to humble them. “Sarkodie is the one who will eat gari together with his family,” he added.

Prophet Mensah gave Sarkodie a 7-day ultimatum to apologize to Ghanaians and President Mahama, and advised the musician to be watchful of his utterances.
