Winston Amoah, a presenter and Senior Journalist with Multimedia Group JOYFM, has warned political parties four days before the 2024 elections.
The Journalist noted that some political parties maybe focus on their opponent’s World Bank, leaving their backyard for exploitation in the December polls.
Speaking during the JOY FM News review show, he detailed, “ This is the challenge you maybe focusing on your opponent’s World Bank and leaving your own backyard for exploitation so if you are not careful while you maybe campaigning there believing that you need to reduce their vote you maybe be assuming that all other things are constant where ever they are, with all other things are equal”.
“But will all other things be equal in the Volta region and the Upper East region, Upper West, Northern region, and Savannah region in the Northeast Region if they are not then it means you are playing into your opponent’s net”, he added.
Winston Amoah further stated, “But I have also seen that while John Mahama is focused on the Ashanti region, Asiedu Nketia is in the Greater Accra he has been to the North also this could be the NDC own strategy, the running mate is also campaigning”.
He further revealed that If the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wins Ashanti Region by a margin of 1 million, things will be difficult for the National Democratic Congress in the December polls.
