Nearly 4 hours after polls officially opened, voters at the Faith Academy B polling center in Ledzokuku are growing increasingly agitated.
According to Some voters they got here before 6 am and are still yet to cast their votes. They expressed their frustration at the Jean Mensa-led Electoral Commission.
In the video shared by TV3, the voters at the Faith Academy B polling center in Ledzokuku were captured expressing their anger at the EC calling it a disgrace.
The information gathered is that voting is yet to begin due to a malfunctioning verification machine and the absence of the presiding officer.
Meanwhile, the 2024 general elections are underway across the country as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
