The member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram Sam George on TV3’s Key Point show on Saturday, December 14, 2024, spoke about President-elect John Mahama’s ruthlessness when it comes to prosecuting corrupt officials.
Sam George noted that John Mahama sacked Victoria Hammah because she had attention making a million dollars in his government.
According to Sam George, Mahama caused his bosom friend and colleague in parliament Abuga Pele to be investigated and jailed.
Speaking on TV3’s Key Point show on Saturday, December 14, 2024, Sam George detailed, “President Mahama sacked Victoria Hammah because she had attention, she was caught on tape with the intention of making a million dollars, but she didn’t make it, an intention he kicked her out of his government”.
“President Mahama caused his bosom friend and colleague in parliament to be investigated and jailed, for lack of oversight Abuga Pele, Abuga Pele he was not the one who signed the contract, but he was overseeing the agency that signed the contract he was jailed”, he added.
Sam George further detailed, “When Brazil happened President Mahama asked a revered judge of the Court of Appeal who again by the way had been punished by the Akufo-Addo administration Justice Senyo Dzamefe has been punished and overlooked for promotion because they think that he is not going to play the partisan politicking that goes on at the Apex court of our land”.
“They have jumped over him with several people and they have left him at the court of appeal, Justice Senyo Dzamefe did a National investigation which was telecast on the Brazil scandal. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah was moved out of the Ministry of Youth and Sports”, he stated.
Sam George also revisited the Metro Bus branding scandal saying, “When the bus branding issue happened and it came out at the Public Accounts Committee President Mahama called Julius Debrah as Chief of Staff to retrieve the money that was paid in excess to the company that is president Mahama track record and cause the late Dzifa Attivor to resign, he did not write a letter calling her my dear Dzifa Attivor”.
