A leading member of the Movement for Change Solomon Owusu has said Lydia Alhassan committed a crime but mentioned God.
According to Solomon Owusu, listening to the ease with which Lydia Alhassan referred to God he thinks God must have a lawyer on earth, to be able to deal with such things.
During the Special voting on Monday, December 2, 2024, Member of Parliament Lydia Seyram Alhassan was in a viral video sharing food and drinks with voters who were waiting for their turn in a queue to cast their ballot in the special voting exercise.
Speaking on TV3’s NewDay Morning show, Solomon Owusu stated, “My difficulty this morning is how we abuse the name of God in this country, listening to the ease she referred to God I think God has to have a lawyer on earth, to be able to deal with such things”.
“We are abusing the name, they go and commit crimes, interestingly she was wearing white, remember Ken Ofori Atta, he will go and wear white quote the Bible, and come and dissipate our revenue, the same way Lydia Alhassan go and mention the name of God, yet you have committed a crime”, he detailed.
Solomon Owusu further claimed, “My worry also is that in discretion exhibited by the security service personnel, lack of discretion, because my checks reveal that the food Lydia Alhassan served is from the Moshosho rice-infested maggot, I have done a lot of extensive research on whatever has happened”.
