A young lady has broken down in tears after losing an iPhone 11 in the streets of Kumasi.
The lady was unfortunate to come across the sharing of t-shirts for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a market.
During the rush for the NPP t-shirts, some pickpockets took the opportunity to rob the unsuspecting lady during the chaos.
The young lady who realized her phone had been stolen after the t-shirt clamoring crowd dispersed, broke down in tears, literally wailing while she dropped the rest of her shopping.
In a video posted on X by @eddie_wrt the lady can be heard saying, “I was carrying my shopping and they managed to steal the phone from it.”
When asked if she was also fighting for the NPP t-shirt, she answered in the negative, “I wasn’t chasing after any t-shirt. I am from Manso and I am on my way home. The phone is not even mine.”
Some people in the market could be heard sympathizing with her but they all broke out into laughter after a market woman appeared to hand her one NPP t-shirt.
