GNFS extinguished fire at the Saglemi Affordable Housing Project

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has announced they have successfully extinguished the fire at the Saglemi Affordable Housing Project.

According to reports, on Tuesday evening at around 5:52 pm, fire engulfed five containers used as offices for the project.

Firefighters from the Sege and Devtraco Fire Stations responded promptly to the scene which took over three hours to manage and bring under control.

The firefighters were successful in extinguishing the fire by 9 pm.

According to GNFS five (5) forty-foot containers used as Offices for the Saglemi Housing Project caught fire.

The Containers and their contents have been totally burnt.

Fire Officers from Sege and Devtraco Fire Stations prevented the fire from affecting the housing project itself.

No casualties have been reported.
