A polling agent of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Charles has accused the Presiding Officer of a polling station in Asante Mampong of colluding with the constituency organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of tampering with ballot box seal.
According to the NDC polling agent, the Presiding Officer and the NPP organizer reportedly accused the duo of doing the deed in his absence, before transporting the ballot box to the polling station.
The NDC polling agent who smelled foul play when the ballot boxes arrived at the polling station swiftly alerted the media to what had happened.
He indicated that the presidential stamp which came along with the ballot box had already being opened, an indication that they had supposedly let others votes before bringing the ballot box to the polling station.
