Nkawkaw was brought to a standstill earlier today as hundreds of followers of the Last Kingdom of God took to the streets in a dramatic float to spread the word of their leader, Odansefo Yosef Ampadu’s shocking prophecy: the world will end in 2028.
“We Have Less Than 4 Years On This Earth, 2028 End of the World, Believe or Not”
The float, which caused significant traffic disruptions, was a direct response to a passionate call made by Odansefo Ampadu during a recent sermon.
He urged his followers to take action and warn the world about the impending apocalypse, declaring it their divine duty to ensure no one is left unaware.
The event, which disrupted traffic in the township, was captured on video and is now circulating widely on X.
While the display drew attention and stirred emotions, many residents questioned the sincerity of the prophecy, pointing out the group’s ongoing work, schooling, and property acquisitions, which seem at odds with their belief in the world’s imminent end.
