An old woman of 120 years was carried by family members to go go and cast her ballot.
The development took place at Abura, a suburb of Cape Coast.
However upon reaching the polling station, she was not able to vote as her data was not found at the polling station.
Her grand daughter who carried her to vote was not giving up, but disclosed she was taking her to another polling station where they had been directed to.
With the December 7, 2024 general elections currently ongoing, Ghanaians have come out in their numbers to elect a new president and parliamentary candidates to lead the nation for the next four years.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
