A political Marketing Expert and Senior lecturer at the University of Ghana, Professor Kobby Mensah has fired shots at President Akufo-Addo after he claimed he did not lie his way into power in 2016.
According to President Akufo-Addo, John Mahama is claiming he came into office in 2016 on the back of telling lies to the Ghanaian people.
Speaking during the inauguration of a newly constructed bridge in the Bantama Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Akufo-Addo stated, “He is saying that in 2016 I came to power, I came to office by telling lies to the Ghanaian people, what are the lies I told, dumsor was my making, I lied about dumsor, did I lie about the 3.4% sluggish growth in Ghana. were all these lies created by Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo; all these were lies? They were hard facts”.
“Maybe he is trying to find a way to excuse himself for his abysmal failure in 2016, he should find another thing, another story to tell”.
Professor Kobby Mensah noted that President Akufo-Addo lied about developing Ghana to be like Singapore in 18 months and even lied during his swearing-in with your acceptance speech.
The professor wrote on X, “You lied about developing Ghana to be like Singapore in 18months 🤷♀️ You even lied at your swearing in with your acceptance speech, that it was your original idea 🤷♂️ You lied that Mahama owned Hotels in Dubai 🤷♀️ and you lied that Bawumia, the Walewale Adams Smith was economic Messiah 🤷♀️”.
