Chelsea Manager, Enzo Maresca says it is not strange for the club and Reece James to harbour some fear about his (James) constant injuries.
Although the Chelsea boss acknowledges injuries are a part of professional hazards associated with football, “If you get injuries always in the same leg or the same muscle, you can be afraid.”
Chelsea Captain Reece James will be unable to feature in any of the club’s games until 2025.
James has picked up another hamstring injury that will keep him out of action as he prepares for another physical and mental journey of recovery.
The player is devasted with the injury as he only made a comeback to the team recently.
Chelsea will be without their captain for their toughest period of the season. In December, they have nine matches, including big clashes against Aston Villa and Tottenham.
“Hopefully, we can find a solution soon,” he indicated about James’ injury spell.
James will receive the best possible rehabilitation programme by Chelsea to ensure a smooth and quick recovery.
His future at the club is, however, uncertain as the club may have no option than to let him go if his injury setbacks continue.
